Foster The People, Rosie And Me, Diplo and more..

Finally catching up with blogging again. Today’s got a few very interresting artists like Rosie And Me, Foster The People, Diplo, Flutter, Carl Rosa, and an exclusive bootleg with Sub Focus, Drumsound and Bassline Smith.

First up: Just figured I will share this for just a few days. It’s an exclusive bootleg of Sub Focus ‘Rock It‘ and ‘Freak‘ by Dumsound and Bassline Smith. It’s a bootleg and with that being said, please go and buy these releases on Beatport!

Pumped Up Kicks..Yeah I know this track issn’t exactly downloadable and not exactly new but still two good reasons to post it:
1. Foster The People have finally announced their album after releasing their debut EP in January. The album will be called ‘Torches’ and it will be released on the 24th of May in the US. It will also feature the three tracks from the debut EP. One of those tracks is ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ which brings me to reason number two.
2. Two weeks ago Foster The People joined Soundcloud. Not only did they upload their Debut EP but also they started up a Soundcloud group to which you can send all your remixes of ‘Pumped Up Kicks’. To download the stems (a 1GB package!), sign up to their mailing list.

One of the first bands ever posted on this blog was a Brazillian indie/folk band Rosie And Me when they released their first EP ‘Bird and Whale’. It had five tracks on it, and at the time I posted the first track ‘Come Back’ on the blog. Well over a year later the EP suddenly disappeared from Soundcloud. Apparently the band wassn’t happy with their current label at the time, and was trying to terminate the contract with it. For that reason, the label had all of Rosie’s tracks pulled from Soundcloud. Last week the band finally posted this message on Facebook: “This is to inform that, after eight months of intense negotiation, we terminated our business relationship with Curve Music (Afonso Marcondes) today, April, 20th, 2011, on friendly grounds, by means of a deal. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and apologize for any inconvenience caused to the public.”
So here are some of the tracks you’ve probably been missing: ‘Bonfires’ and ‘Darkest Horse’ from the Bird And Whale EP, back on Soundcloud!

Next up is Carl Rosa. He is a young Swedish multi-instrument musician, singer/songwriter and a producer. He’s just put out his Debut EP called ‘I’m Eclectic, Bitch’ for a school assignment. The EP holds three tracks from three different genres, mostly rock and dubstep. One of them even flirts a bit with African rythm in the same way that Vampire Weekend does. The track Is called ‘Mande Boogie’.

Looks like anything Diplo throws out on Soundcloud still causes instant earthquakes. After his remix on Travis Barker (something about a month ago) he puts out a mixture of Nicki Minaj, Sleigh Bells and Swedish House Mafia called ‘One Kid’. The track is already up on Hype Machine but yesterday Diplo posted the downloadable version.

And for one last tune I would like to introduce you to Lodewijk Fluttert. He’s a young Dj/producer/psychology student from Utrecht, The Netherlands and he just recently joined Soundcloud. Yesterday, actually. One of his tracks is called ‘Now Everybody Knows’ and I don’t really know wich track he sampled there but it just sounds really good.
