Browsing new tracks today, trap tsunami. Thinking lots of these Trap genre tags need their T’s replaced with a capitol C. Can’t be said for Brittish label TrapDoor Records though. The label presents ‘Feel Good’, by London producer The Ninetys. A welcome surprise to start the monday.
Band, London. They’re called & The Centurions and they have a free track for you titled ‘Skeletons’. Can’t help it, the signature guitar sound says TDCC. But there’s more to &TC, have a listen to some of their other tracks on Soundcloud. definitely won’t disappoint. Also, master. It’s nitpicking, though the final version could be polished up a bit more.

The mentions. Hip-hop first. Smooth Duncan Gerow mashup on Erykah Badu’s ‘Window Seat’ (instrumental) and Missy Elliott’s ‘Sock it To Me’ acapella. Second in, Jay Colin is sharing a free track titled ‘Try Before You Die‘. Get past the intro, there’s a nice hip-hop track in there. One dubstep track by Davr titled ‘Cheers’ which is more of a blend of dubstep and some of the future bass stuff that’s been happening in 2012. Now for the house/garage stuff.Rhode & Brown have a lovely edit on Rhye’s ‘Open‘. Totte provides ‘Yours truly‘. If you know Totte you know what to expect. Very Totte. Pedestrian and Maribou state give a remix to Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo Wop‘. One of the many remixes to come out on that track lately.
And this track is particularly nice if you decide to have bad M instead of coffee this morning.
