Little late with this one, Ashdown is a singer/producer from London whose EP ‘Set The Pace’ came out on various dates in late april.
There’s three tracks on it, with two of them titled ‘Set The Pace’ and ‘Have You Told Him’. But the sweet spot on the tracklist is right in the middle of those two tracks. ‘Perk Up’ is an upbeat bass production with some slightly less happy vocals on top, but they go nicely together.
And it’s only the second release for Ashdown, who debuted officially with ‘Always Away’ last year. At least, as Ashdown. Before there have been some remixes and other free tracks from the Londonder under another alias: Mashdown.
