After their outstanding 2013 album ‘Woman’, LA duo Rhye is setting up to finally release their sophomore album in early 2018. Something new to hear from the album arrived last week, and it’s titled ‘Taste’.
If one track should be picked, the duo – Robin Hannibal and Mike Milosh – must be well-known for their 2013 single ‘Open‘. Other tracks from ‘Woman’ that went ahead to gather millions of plays are ‘Last Dance‘, ‘3 Days‘ and ‘The Fall‘. Critics have often compared the vocals on ‘Woman’ those of popular Nigerian-born British female singer Sade – when in fact Rhye’s vocal tracks are always performed by the duo’s male singer, Mike Milosh.
Together with the release of the new album, Rhye wll embark on a American and European tour with shows in cities such as Mexico City, Miami, Washington, Brooklyn, Paris, London, Toronto, Los Angeles, Berlin, Amsterdam and many more. Tickets can be found here. Check out ‘Taste’ below:
