Watch Out Roxanne
Loo and Placido are two guys, Jeremy Johnson and Laurent Lupidi, from France. They mashed up Sting’s vocals of ‘Roxanne’ by The Police with several dubstep tracks. One we know is ‘Watch Out’ by Doctor P. We’re still trying to figure out the other ones they used (Help!) but we’ll edit this post once we know. All we know: this is a pretty damn brilliant mixdown.
Work
The 2 Bears are a London-based duo: Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Rundell. But after already releasing an album, three EPs and a fantastic BBC Essential Mix (amongst others), you probably know of them. We’ve been loving the hell out of this track ‘Work’, which we figured wasn’t a free download. So we didn’t post it. But after stumbling across DFA Records’ Soundcloud page, we have to retract that statement. DFA is handing it out as a free bonus. Enjoy!
