Manicanparty is a duo from Brooklyn, originally from Minnesota. They claim to make tribal pop, which is quite a nice genre to imagine. (“From Paul Simon to Ellie Goulding, from Peter Gabriel to Florence and the Machine.“) And ‘It’s In Her Eyes’ does justice to such a claim.
A bit older. Australian producer JL posted ‘Hold Moi’ about a month ago. It’s a free download on Perth label Die High Records. Nice round basses, crisp synths and a guitar surprise. Must follow.
