Fences (Chrome Canyon Remix)
Just discovered Chrome Canyon, a producer from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY. He describes his own music as ‘Galactic Electro Yacht’, but I think that’s just what the kids are calling disco these days. He’s done remixes on Foster The People, Anoraak, Passion Pit and Phoenix. Especially his take on Phoenix’ ‘Fences’ is very nice.

The slower, the better. That’s what seems to be on Brodinski‘s mind since last week. He’s been uploading pitched-down versions of some very well-known tunes on Soundcloud, Including Lil’Wayne’s ‘With You’ and Aaliyah’s ‘Rock The Boat’. Sure, it does make Aaliyah sound like a transvestite. And Lil’Wayne makes a pretty good Barry White once pitched down. Doesn’t take away the fact that this works. Slow for the win!
