As you might have noticed, we’ve started advertising for a clothing brand from the UK called Sin Star. Now I’ve personally never been a big fan of advertising. Nobody is. In the past that meant we’ve turned down quite a few advertisers for Jackplug. But this one’s different because I think a lot of you might actually like this brand. They have a really cool collection, and we’re proud to feature them.
Champion Sound (Acoustic)
Crystal Fighters have been so kind to share a pretty exclusive track. It’s the acoustic version of ‘Champion Sound’. You can get this track at the Crystal Fighters website store together with some other fantastic acoustic recordings. Just this once Crystal Fighters have given permission to Jackplug for hosting a downloadable version of ‘Champion Sound’.
Champion Sound (Psychemagik Remix)
This Psychemagik remix on Crystal Fighters’ ‘Champion Sound’ has a bit of a slow start (probably better for the dj’s) but wait for it. At 2.54 Psychemagik drops a bassline and it’s pure awesomeness from there on. Definitely going on replay for a while.
Flunk
It’s been way too long since Go Go Bizkitt was featured here. The UK disco dj/producer is handing out a track on which he collaborates with a (Texan?) MC Shawn Elliot. The track is called ‘Flunk’. Sounds like the Bizkitt is changing the way he produces music. Older GGB-tracks usually sounded pretty audio-based, consisting out of cut up disco samples. ‘Flunk’ on the other hand sounds much more like he’s been hooking up MIDI keyboards and VST’s.
(Keljet’s Hawaiian Remix)
Wow, this post is turning out to be pretty tropical. And it is getting worse. Yesterday Keljet dropped a new remix. They took on Coldplay’s ‘UFO’ from the Xylo Myloto album. The original version is a bit like ‘old’ Coldplay, the plain and simple version. The remix is way different and, like I said, much more tropical. Keljet even dares to throw the term ‘Hawaiian’ in the remix title. Mahalo, Keljet!
Don’t Move
And finally a tune from the We Are Hunted website. This week they are giving away a few great tracks. In return, they ask you to leave your email address (To which the track will be sent). One of the tracks is Phantongram‘s ‘Don’t Move’. You might recognize the samples from E-Dubble’s last track ‘Fight for Days‘. He actally sampled this track, not the other way around.
