Deeplomatik, Junior Jack, Sam Smith, Knightley, Clean Bandit, Merk & Kremont

In the late nineties Junior Jack released a breakthrough single titled ‘My Feeling’. Great house anthem which uses a vocal sample from Alexander O’Neal and Cherelle’s 1985 single ‘Saturday Love’. It’s that sample that makes this Deeplomatik track more of an original with the original sample by C&A on top of it, but it’s nice to see Junior Jack accredited for doing it first. Chilled out piano anthem.

Knightley is back one month after his latest track. This week he remixes Sam Smith’s ‘Stay With Me’. It’s pretty faithful to the original version in the breakdowns, af which Knightley takes over with a nice combination of synth and bass.

Without participating in the whole EDM and what-the-scene-should-be discussion, we’ve have been digging up some more fun EDMy stuff lately. One of the recent mixtapes was good fun too. And so is this remix by Merk & Kremont on Clean Bandit and JEss Glynne’s ‘Rather Be’.
