Kickoff with a highlight between a whole bunch of house tracks this week. L.A. producer Dino Soccia is giving away this Roots remix through Toneden. It uses a part of Musiq’s effort in The Roots’ 2002 track ‘Break You Off’. This one. People who play this out in their sets can also get in touch with Soccio for a WAV.

Dolly Parton – Jolene (Todd Terje Rework)
Old Dolly Parton song reworked by the master Todd Terje. The Norse dj/producer is handing out his rework of country classic ‘Jolene’ through Gouranga. And it sounds surprisingly well given the fact that it’s an early seventies country song from Parton’s glory days. Be fast on the download though, it won’t be up for long.

Lauren K. Faith – Luxure (Maxx Baer Remix)
London singer, musician and producer Lauren Faith is getting support on some major channels such as The XX and EDM.com on her latest single Luxure. Mostly together with Bristol producer Maxx Baer, with whom Faith just premiered this latest remix. Be sure to follow both, pretty sure there’s going to be more aural goodness from these two.

Mike Mago & Dragonette – Outlines (Jacques PEROZ Remix)
That’s it for the house stuff, now for half tempo. Most of Jacques Peroz’ productions have been created for the big room / EDM stage. But from his last few tracks it looks like the Toulouse producer is moving more towards a bassy, slightly more experimental sound. Which sounds extremely good with these Dragonette vocals from a Mike Mago record on Spinnin’ Deep.

Deon Custom – Razors
As a Dutch writer it’s brilliant to see more and more talented bass producers emerge from the Netherlands. So after a few plays on Deon Custom’s tracks it’s actually nice to see he’s based in Dordrecht. It even looks like ‘emerging’ is an understatement, seeing the support Deon Custom has been getting. His latest track is a free one titled ‘Razors’, pay for it if you have some money to spare though.
