Beauty of the week. Out on PeopleLoveMusic comes a free track by Oslo producer Diskobeistet. It’s a remix on Erykah Badu’s ‘On & On’. Picks up the original below 100BPM acapella to a speedy 110BPM. Maybe a bit fast for people who know the original, gets better after a few plays though.
Great progressive track for the patient listener. James Woods presents At Night, an eighties inspired progressive track that nears six minutes in length with two nice buildups. Will go down well with a crowd that is more about flow than about drops.
It’s mostly the instrumental doing the work here. Hedonistic Vibes remixes Estelle and Kanye West’s ‘American Boy’. Now the vocals and the instruments don’t always play nice. But even with that considered, HV puts up quite the track here. Didn’t even need the Estelle Acapella. Instrumental version?
Monday means a free gift by Annie Mac. And last monday that gift was called Bodhi. The guys from Bodhi are handing out ‘LVE’, a great deephouse track that’s mostly about it’s bassline, but has a small piano riding on top of it. Secretly wishing those piano chords would sustain a little more though.
French duo Reflex is giving away their club version for ‘Sunset’. That’s a that has been popping up on a lot of good djsets already, support comes from Magician, Justin Faust, Blende, Keljet and Xinobi just to name a few.
Slow tropical jam time. J-Art and Madan remix an oldie by the Police titled ‘Walking On The Moon’. Production doesn’t sound as clean as the tracks above, but it’s all compensated by this thick tropical vibe. Track just radiates heat.
