Swedish Zara Larsson is one of the most remixed artists in the past months – Desiigner is still way up at the top of that list – and last week Larsson appeared on an official and very decent YourEDM premiere for a remix by Ironix.
Ironix is Simon Reichardt and Felix Eickhoff, a duo from Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Their most notably tracks include bootleg remixes on Zedd, Ellie Goulding and Justin Bieber, and official releases on German labels such as RUN DBN and Recovery House, which have received support by some mainstream dj’s such as Juicy M, Ummet Ozcan, Felix Jaehn and Oliver Heldens.
Which makes their new remix stand out. Looking at the Ironix catalog, it’s mostly the same mainstage EDM and ‘future’ – seriously wondering how long we’re going to use that word – house. Their new production is in de mid tempo range. Diplo would be proud.
