The Island
Just a few more days and then Pendulum’s remix competition with Juno store, Soundcloud and Warner Brothers will close. Not sure how many people made a remix, a quick search in the Soundcloud shows over 400 results and usually a lot of participants tend to send in their remix in the last few days before the deadline. If you haven’t heard of the competition yet, upcoming producers are asked to remix ‘The Island’, one of the tracks on Pendulum’s latest album ‘Immersion’. Which is what French teenager Madeon did very well.

Love On A Real Train
This track is from the 1983 movie ‘Risky Business’. It’s called ‘Love On A Real Train’, written by Berlin pioneers of electronic music Tangerine Dream. The track is featured in the film when Tom Cruise and Rebecca De Mornay get on a train a decide to have some fun in the dark. Electronic duo SymbolOne picked up the track and reworked it to a piece of music they like to call ‘Tropical Doom’. We just call it pretty damn good.

Lisztomania
This remix is a lot less rare. Phoenix remixes are flying around the internet like cheap viagra adds. This one is a great tough, thanks to Shook.
