First one’s a quickie: Andrew Clarke and Leftside Wobble do a dubby Re-edit of Michael McDonald – ‘I Keep Forgettin’.
Next up, Cillian Waters is Cillo, an House/Dubstep/Electronica producer from Dublin, Ireland. He is that producer that just puts up his tracks for free on Soundcloud. In the last year he has put up around 25 tracks and they can still be found there. On to Berlin. This is where Georg Levin makes his music together with production partner Dixon. Together they are the house duo Wahoo, but this is not about them. This is about Levin’s upcoming solo album ‘Everything Must Change’. It’s out March the 29th. On his Myspace blog Levin is challenging listeners to come up with a ‘satisfying term’ to describe his music: “Whoever says that nobody wants his or her artistic endeavors to be pigeonholed is wrong: I want my music to be pigeonholed, categorized, sorted, processed, spat out… even if it’s just some bullshit, I’d be fine with some bullshit, if at least it sounds cool and creates the illusion of me belonging somewhere…! So please… all you linguistic lizards, cultural historians and word counts out there… please help! All suggestions are welcome! The winner gets a free copy of the CD and Vinyl of the new album … hand picked, hand signed + hand kissed ….promised!”
