Official debut single of Miami based producer Luis Crucet. The musician is working together with fellow Floridian vocalist Silk Matthews on a mighty bass anthem, ‘Power’.
Luis Crucet is most known for his remixes on Clean Bandt’s ‘Rather Be‘ and Rihanna’s ‘Goodnight Gotham‘. Before 2015, Crucet was also known as Atrasolis. Under that more dubstep/bass focused name the Miamian for example worked out this remix on System Of A Down’s ‘Chop Suey!‘ and an original track titled ‘Turn Up The Heat‘. Vocalist Silk Matthews is – as well as Crucet himself – part of the Miami based WNWD artists collective. In turn, Matthews already made appearances on a few other tracks such as Atellagali’s ‘California Vibin’‘ and ‘Cloud Watching‘ together with Kaixen.
According to Luis Crucet, ‘Power’ is about a choice between staying true to passion or ‘selling out’: “‘Power’ embodies emotions of struggling stories in someone’s passion or craft and what you’re willing to choose to sell out or not with all the costs.”
