It’s quite unusual for an instrumental house track to be as instantly captivating as this; it’s usually the art of mixing them well that makes longer instrumental tracks come at you in full force. Which surely goes for this track as well, yet there’s something to is that makes it very worth mentioning in a standalone post as well.
Perhaps that is because we’re already talking about a classic. Prana’s ‘The Dream’ is an older track released on Tribal America in 1994. The original vinyl featured some heavy support through remixes by both guys from Deep Dish Separately – Sharam and Dubfire – as well as BT and Spy.
Malachi does a mesmerizing job freshening up the old version with a new take that is very playable on modern sound systems. This begs to be played all over the mediterranean coastlines (again).
