Why not, another JB cover… Well that’s what we thought at least, but Afreaux actually turns it into a very, very decent interpretation. Very much worth a mention here.
Fun thing is: we’ve actually watched this very producer before, turning in demo’s at a Dutch dj convention (Dancefair, for those in the know). And the stuff he delivered as Adinde Ringel was the type of stuff you’d expect at a past edition of an Ultra Music Festival Mainstage, loud and full of bassy madness.
Yet his new work as Afreaux is on the far opposite of the spectrum. Pretty great, gentle beats right here. Even though this Justin Bieber interpretation does sound a lot like Afreaux’ previous ‘Save Me’, the track before that (‘Good Morning’) sounds completely different. Let’s hope there more exciting new stuff coming in the near future, from both Adinde Ringel and Jasmine Thompson.
