So New Soundcloud went public. With a few nice new features, but also missing some features of old Soundcloud. Quick glance at a limited twitter search query, say ‘#newSoundcloud’. About 50/50 on whether is hit or miss. Seems especially some of the sound creators dislike the new look and feel. Be sure to get your feedback to the SC-team.
The big score of the day. Pegboard Nerds publish ’20K’, new free track. Well produced Dubstep Skrillesque. Sound that is familiar with the masses. Lots of change-ups, quite balanced mixdown. Guessing this will be up on a lot of bass-minded blogs in the coming days. For good reason.

Second demo from that young New Yorkian Japanese duo BenZal. Snappy Hip-hop-ish production titled ‘Fall In Love’. Very much looking forward to the next couple of tracks these gentlemen will be presenting.

This was sent in by Milo Mills, a producer from Vienna. Fat slow jam that is titled ‘The Wall’. Does have a lovely lead, nice round basses, sounds great on headphones. Actually thankful he sent this, probably would not have come across it otherwise.

Dickload of a HM. Dreamy Folk on Brooklyn’s Small Plate Records, with a wonderful ‘Purple‘ by Day Joy. In the UK department, Fion drops a new fancefloor tool titled ‘This Way‘. As his partner in crime, Brame, also drops a tune of his own titled ‘Keep It Up‘. Sticking with the bass genre, Aaron Lipsett collaborates with HighStreet to bring you ‘Everybody‘. And quite close to that one is Chaos in the CBD’s new track ‘Pale Moonlight’, Mak & Pasteman remix. That one is out on XLR8R. Rogue Vogue samples Maxi Priest’s ‘Close To You’ in a new track called ‘Feel Love‘. And back to Brooklyn for Carousel, who releases a poppy free track titled ‘Stay Awake‘.
