It’s been a year since Kaskade started posting free tunes every Monday. He still manages to find something nice every Monday, be it an old remix of himself or an unreleased song from Late Night Alumini (The band he’s in). Today is Monday, and he’s sharing a dub remix of Robyn’s ‘Call Your Girlfriend’. The dub version was not released on the official EP, that’s why Kaskade is giving it away for free now. I think the intro sounds a bit too Eurodance, but once you’re past 1.28 it’s a great big room remix.

Surprising mashup from French producer Fissunix. He took the classic RJD2’s ‘Ghostwriter’ and placed Green Day’s (somewhat depressing) ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ acapella on top of it. Never been a big fan of Green Day, but I have give credit for this mashup. It just works.

Kudos to Ukrainian producer Queensway for turning a song I resent into something I actually like. It’s ‘Summer Jam’, released in 2000 by the Underdog Project. At the time it featured samples from ‘Fiesta’ by The Sunclub (popular in Europe around 1997) and vocals from Underdog Project themselves. Now Queensway has been using these (rather corny) vocals in a new production, his own much smoother version of ‘Summer Jam’.

Nice new-ish production by U-Tern called ‘Paradigm’ It’s a collab between U-Tern, AJK and vocalist Roxy, all musicians from Vancouver. Together they are ‘Cordova’ and somehow they haven’t managed to officially release the track so now U-Tern is giving it away for free. Fantastic freebie!

New free track from Budo and Grieves: ‘Best Of Me’. If you’ve been paying attention you might have noticed them before on this blog. Great quality hip-hop made in Brooklyn. They have a new album out, as mentioned in the video message above.

I know this might be a bit wrong, Mr. ‘Alright Yeah’ Lil’ Jon got a Moombahton remix on his track ‘Get Low’. Remix was produced by Alvaro and Punish, two Dutch house producers who actually live in Holland. When I read the track name I braced myself, thinking I was in for something horrible (Just not a big Dutch House fan, sorry) but it wassn’t too bad at all. I can see why people like this. Next thing on my to-do list is harassing my neighbours a bit more with this remix now. Bye.
