Leading with ‘Parade’, a track by French producer Rone. It’s a remix by Parisian ensemble CongopunQ and it’s just different. Buildups go down in a strange way, breakdown come in unexpected, everything is unpredictable. Overall, the track paints a fresh and playful yet complex picture. Get this on replay a few times, it will grow on you.
Got a message from SKOGSRÅ as a response to a message way back in 2011. Around that time we posted a track of his (Mande Boogie) under a different name (Carl Rosa). Not even able to find a streamable version of that track anymore. But this new project SKOGSRÅ sounds really good as well. ‘Now You See Me’ is it’s debut track. Vibrant disco/pop hybrid goodness.

Everything about this is so cool. Moonlight Breakfast is a band from Bucharest, currently based in Vienna, Austria. They’ve been working out music for quite some time, but only recently have they taken to Soundcloud to share free music. ‘My Baby’ is taken from their album ‘Shout’ which was released in 2012. Light and edgy pop track with just a pinch of EDM influences and some jazz references on the side. Delicious.
Annie Mac’s Free Music Monday took some distance from the usual dancefloor stuff last Monday. Instead, AMP premiered ‘Your Love Is Like’, a track by Max Marshall. She’s a London based singer. The track is a very hip-hop influenced pop soul/pop track and according to AMP she’s going to have a very good 2014. Which is a welcome promise.
Kreap keeps doing heaps. In all different directions. Next to the house and disco influenced stuff, the Melbourne producer unleased this funk monster on Soundcloud this week. It’s a remix on Moola$ by Canadian singer Jordy Birch. Sounds like something that fell out of the record bag of Xinobi or Gigamesh.
Ayer premiered a second mixdown on their second single ‘Young’. The producer of the duo, Micky Valen, takes the dreamy original and crafts it into something fit for impatient radio listeners. It’s a great version though, still a beautiful pop track.
